Medical Technologies LLC  was established in 1992 as a Joint Venture between Euromedika Company  of the USA and Lyra Scientific R&D Institute of Lithuania. Initially, the Joint Venture was engaged in the dental business. In 1996, Medical Technologies changed its main focus to hospital products. By 2007, our sales to hospitals represented 95% of company business.

Medical Technologies designs, develops, manufactures, and distributes world-class hospital equipment and systems to global market customers. In all phases of activity, the company utilizes sophisticated equipment and engages highly educated and trained specialists. The result is high quality, cutting-edge technology products, with proven long-term reliability, and reasonable cost to medical institutions. 

Our products are primarily installed in Operating Rooms and Intensive Care Wards of hospitals. Additionally, life-support gases, main vacuum and medical air compressors are installed in centralized support facilities. We, also, safely conceal high and low voltage electrical power networks, communication/control wires, and piping within hospital walls and ceilings.

Training of installation engineers from our partner organizations, as well as technical and service support in various forms, is effectively provided from our company headquarters in Kaunas. 

Medical Technologies can also provide Hospital, Poly-clinic and Dental Clinic planning and business consulting. 

Our medical equipment design, manufacturing, and servicing is certified to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003. The medical equipment that Medical Technologies ships to market fulfills the requirements of European Union directive 93/42/EEC, standards ISO 7396, EN 737, ISO 11197:2004 and other normative documents; and is CE marked.

LLC “Medical Technologies” is introducing new technologies and expanding production.

The company has prepared and is performing the investment project for new technologies installation, and production expansion through the European Structural Funds support under the measure Leader LT. Estimated project completion deadline is December of 2011. Planned substantial improvement in products quality, new products, requiring the introduction of “cutting-edge” technology production processes uptake, it will let to increase production volume by 60% and significantly reduce production costs.
